why this fund exists

For years, our community's dancers and theater students have shared a vision: a place where movement, storytelling, and creativity live side by side. The demand is here. The talent is here. What's missing is the space to let it thrive.

Our current facilities have served us well, but we've outgrown them. Scheduling conflicts, limited rehearsal time, and spaces not designed for performance-based learning are holding our students back. Enrollment is growing, the partnership between our programs feels effortless, and momentum is strong. We're ready to build something permanent that reflects that.

This campaign is about more than square footage. It's about ensuring our growth is sustainable, intentional, and community-centered, a space we can truly call our own, built to support the creativity, collaboration, and confidence our students deserve.

Why we matter

This project isn’t just about walls and floors. It’s about access, opportunity, and belonging. With this new space, we will:

Serve more students across disciplines

Create performances and productions

Strengthen collaboration between dance and theater

Offer a welcoming cultural hub for families and audiences

We already reach more than 500 students across Central New York. With the right space, that number doubles and every one of those students gets an environment that says: you belong here.

What we're building

A shared Home

A permanent home for both Encore Youth Productions and Revolve Dance Alliance.

This space is intentionally designed for learning, collaboration, and performance. It will provide an environment where students can train, rehearse, and grow together.

an arts hub

The space will include:

  • Purpose-built dance and theater classrooms

  • A flexible stage and performance area

  • Theater seating for students, families, and community audiences

  • Accessible restrooms

  • Costume, prop, and equipment storage

room to grow

With this new space, we will:

  • Add more programming for students within both organizations

  • Allow for in house productions and performances

  • Expand opportunities for the community to celebrate the arts

  • Ensure long-term sustainability for both programs

Most importantly, our space will give students a place where they feel seen, supported, and inspired.

community impact

Encore Youth Productions (EYP) and Revolve Dance Alliance (RDA) are already impacting more than 500 students in Central New York, serving families across Onondaga and Oswego counties.

Together, they provide affordable, high-quality arts education through productions, performances, camps, and workshops. This project will expand that reach to more than 1,000 youth annually while creating a welcoming community venue for performances, cultural events, and gatherings, increasing access to the arts for students and audiences of all ages.
